Reflecting on the Success of the Homecoming Gala: Gratitude and Momentum for the Future
On November 10, 2024, we gathered for the first-ever Homecoming Gala - an unforgettable evening that showcased the power of community, hope, and generosity. Now, nearly a month later, we remain in awe of the overwhelming support and encouragement that filled the room that night.
The gala was more than an event. It was a celebration of resilience, a rally for action, and a reflection of the shared belief that every young person deserves a life free from exploitation and filled with opportunity.
A Night of Impact
Thanks to our incredible guests, sponsors, and volunteers, the Homecoming Gala was a tremendous success. From meaningful conversations to an exciting ilve auction and Matthew Kleinhuizens outstanding performance, every aspect of the night was infused with purpose and joy.
We are overjoyed to share that together, we raised $275,800 during the gala!
We are deeply grateful to our amazing sponsors - JNBA Financial Advisors, Ironmark Building, First Bank and Trust, Cemstone, and many others - for their generosity and belief in our mission. Because of your contributions, we raised critical funds to continue the path to transform lives through healing and empowerment.
Special thanks also go to the individuals and organizations that made the night seamless, from planning to execution. Your dedication and hard work brought our vision for the gala to life.
What the Gala Means for the Future
Thanks to your generosity, the funds raised at the gala will allow Corrie’s House to expand our reach and deepen the care we provide. Here’s how your support is transforming lives:
Expanding access to trauma-informed therapy, case management, and education for our participants.
Strengthening life-skills programs that help young people build confidence, independence, and healthy relationships.
Investing in our home—a space designed to be safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive to every participant who steps through our doors.
The gala wasn’t just a celebration of what we’ve accomplished—it was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together.
Gratitude and Vision
As we reflect on the Homecoming Gala, we feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Your kindness and generosity fuel our mission and remind us why we do this work. But more than gratitude, we feel determination.
There is so much more to be done to ensure that every survivor in Minnesota has access to the care, compassion, and community they need to rebuild their lives. Together, we can make that vision a reality.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for standing with Corrie’s House. Let’s carry the momentum of the Homecoming Gala into the months and years ahead as we continue to walk alongside our participants and bring hope to their lives.
