Linda joined Corrie's House, because she believes in providing hope, healing and a path forward for children exploited by trafficking. She recently retired from CHS Inc., a global Fortune 100 energy, grains, and foods company where she led the organization's marketing, communications and corporate facilities. During her career at CHS, Linda was also responsible for the company's foundation and corporate giving. Linda serves on several Minnesota non-profit boards and recently chaired the National FFA Foundation Board, the nation's largest youth leadership organization. She received her bachelor's degree in Agriculture Journalism from the University of Minnesota and a master's in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University.

Macayla Fryc

Macayla recognizes the glaring need to safely home underage survivors and is ready to fill that gap, being the change we want to see in the world. A partner to Corrie’s House from the beginning, she’s served on the board since 2022. Macayla currently directs the client services department at Navy Island, Inc., providing architectural product expertise to clients from local organizations to international corporations. Entrepreneurial at heart, Macayla is owner-operator of several local businesses, with the emphasis on building the community. She has a passion for sustainable agriculture and sits on the board of New Dreams Cambodia, supplying much-needed mechanical farming equipment to rural Cambodian communities. With a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Northwestern - St. Paul, Macayla is combining her heart and her communication to the Corrie’s House team.

Kadie Frey

Kadie’s career in hospitality first introduced her to the exploitation of children being trafficked in hotels and her passion for making a difference led her to join the Corrie’s House team. While working at a downtown Minneapolis hotel, Kadie had the opportunity to participate with law enforcement in an anti-trafficking sting. Recognizing that lodging properties are key in preventing sex trafficking and saving lives, Kadie has completed the Safe Harbor Prevention and Response Training to help identify and respond to potential human trafficking situations. She is currently the General Manager at LORA hotel in Stillwater and serves as Vice Chair on the Discover Stillwater Tourism Board, Hype Young Professionals Steering Committee for Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and her Home Owners Association Board. She received her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from North Dakota State University.

Troy's commitment to Corrie's House's mission is unwavering, driven by a profound belief in fostering peace, restoration, and empowerment for victims of trafficking. Having served on multiple boards of social service non-profits aiding underprivileged youth, he brings a wealth of experience to the table. As CEO of Ironmark Building Company, a distinguished firm renowned for its General Contracting and Construction Management, Troy leverages his position to merge his business acumen with his passion for social impact. His extensive background in financial performance, budgeting, and financing strategies equips him to guide Corrie's House in securing an optimal location to further their impactful mission. Troy holds a B.S Degree and Masters in Civil Engineering and Architecture from the University of Illinois. His academic background, combined with practical experience, positions him both understand the logistical needs of the project as well as the overarching societal impact that Corrie's House seeks to achieve.

Casey hayden

One of the original team members, Casey’s involvement with Corrie’s House is fueled by his desire to see those exploited by trafficking find restoration. Casey has been with the organization since October 2018, contributing in multiple roles since then, and is currently the Board Treasurer. Working as an investment manager, Casey works in finance. He has served on multiple boards, capital campaigns and fundraising committees, and works with nonprofits to form strong investment policies and accounts. Involved in churches, universities, and corporations both large and small, Casey has a strong passion to build communities and works hard to ensure those he serves have access to strong programs and networks.He has a B.S. in Rehabilitation and Human Services from the University of North Dakota, and an MBA in Finance from Johnson and Wales University.

ALBERTO ABREU

Alberto first witnessed the seriousness of the underworld of child sexual exploitation when working in cooperation with law enforcement while he was running a hotel in his home country of the Dominican Republic. As a resident and hotel general manager in Minnesota, he has seen similar challenges of child sex trafficking in this state. After attending the Corrie’s House Gala and hearing more about our mission to support youth who’ve been victimized by sex trafficking, Alberto immediately knew he wanted to be a part of making this happen. He is currently the General Manager of the Radisson Blu Mall of America hotel in Bloomington and has an extensive career in Hospitality having worked in Chicago, Oklahoma City, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic. Alberto has also served as a board member of the Mall of America Community Foundation and a board member of the Bloomington Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Mike Rygh

A history of helping children around the world laid the foundation for Mike’s joining Corrie’s House. His experience is steeped in housing, having been the President and owner of Custom One Homes for 33 years and the broker of his real estate company. Hidden Valley, Hidden Oaks, Autumn Ridge, and Autumn Bluff are among his many managed land projects.  At the age of 55, he felt led to adopt a 12-year-old orphan from Jamaica and has since served with Jamaica’s Robin’s Nest Children’s Home for more than 10 years, six years as the Board President. Mike has a passion for helping children and has led several mission trips to Ecuador and Jamaica. Mike holds his bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. 


Kristina Salkowski

Kristina believes that hope and joy are critical to the life of every person. She joined the work and mission of Corrie's House with the goal of providing a place where hope and joy are found for those who have been exploited by sex trafficking. With more than 20 years of nonprofit development and management experience, Kristina serves as the Senior Vice President of Advancement for Greater Twin Cities United Way. Kristina's team is responsible for building partnerships with individuals, corporations, and foundations - helping collaborate, connect and create solutions that drive transformational community impact. Prior to United Way, Kristina managed distinguished giving and events at the American Cancer Society. She holds degrees from the University of Minnesota where she studied political science, sociology and social work. Kristina's heart for building opportunity and futures for the youth of our community stems from her early service as the Director of a nonprofit in the Twin Cities overseeing case managers for youth exiting treatment and detention centers.

 
 
 

Jeff Klemmer

Jeff’s deep commitment to provide safe and supportive housing solutions for vulnerable populations brought him to Corrie’s House. His passion is rooted in years of owning a residential real estate brokerage and real estate investing, where he has owned properties used as group homes for adults with mental health challenges.  Jeff also spent more than a decade with IBM in a variety of sales and training roles.  His dedication to community service is evident through his extensive volunteer work, including with Corrie’s House since 2021 as a donor and volunteer, his leadership role on the housing corporation board for a student housing non-profit, and his work with Eagle Brook Church.  A proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jeff has a strong background in business and real estate.
